Atkins Diet Hint – Tips to Diet Properly
NOTE: This Low Carbohydrate Diet is considered a fad diet plan but Dr. Atkins suggests that one COULD use this diet for permanent weight loss.
1- Do not eat more than 20 grams of Carbohydrates Daily
2- You may eat up to 3 cups of Salad Vegetables or 1 cup Cooked Vegetables
3- You may eat whenever you are hungry (calories do not count)
4- This diet consists of pure proteins, pure fats (butter, olive oil, canola oil, vegetable oil, mayonnaise etc..)and any combinations of proteins & fats.
You can eat as much fat as you want ... !
what is not allowed is CARBOHYDRATES ( this is a major no-no ).
5- You may drink water, coffee (decaf), tea, diet soda (read label). Any Drink with 0 carbs is allowed..
6- Using a carbohydrate counter (one could make a list of foods totaling 20 carbohydrates or less).
7- Join a Lowcarb Group !
DOING ALL THIS WILL MOST LIKELY ENSURE A FAST WEIGHT LOSS
8-If you want to take appetite suppressants with this diet.
Then DO NOT Drink Coffee , DRINK Decafinated coffee or tea.
